  • Red Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light (630–850nm). These wavelengths are selected for their ability to penetrate the skin and support cellular energy production at a mitochondrial level.

Sunlight contains a broad spectrum of light, including ultraviolet (UV), visible light, and infrared. UV exposure can contribute to skin damage and premature ageing.

Red Light Therapy provides controlled, targeted exposure, with consistent intensity and duration. Sunlight exposure varies depending on time of day, weather, and environment.

Unlike sunlight, Red Light Therapy contains no UV wavelengths and is designed for regular, safe use.

While sunlight plays an important role in vitamin D production and mood regulation, Red Light Therapy is specifically designed to support cellular function, recovery, inflammation response, and skin health.

  • No. The SOHL Red Light Therapy Pod does not emit UV light.

It uses specific red and near-infrared wavelengths (630–850nm), which are non-UV and are used to support cellular function, recovery, and overall health and wellbeing.

  • A red light therapy pod with five wavelengths offers enhanced therapeutic benefits by targeting a broader range of cellular processes and tissue depths. Different wavelengths penetrate the skin at varying depths, addressing issues from surface-level skin treatment (red light) to deeper muscle recovery and inflammation reduction (near-infrared light). Combining multiple wavelengths provides a more comprehensive treatment, creating synergistic effects that enhance overall outcomes.

  • In light of trying to reduce mental load we provide everything you need in studio including in sauna and post sauna towels, water, shampoo and conditioner. The only item you need to bring is a change of under garments.

  • For now, we do operate from a home based studio. This studio has a designated parking spot for you, a seperate access and an exclusive outdoor shower for your privacy.
